Fall is our favorite season and Ohio has brilliant shades of red, orange, yellow, and gold.I've been looking through my photos and reflecting back on some of our Ohio visits in fall.
The village of Grand Rapids sits just southwest of Toledo, Ohio. It has a great Applebutter Festival, quaint downtown (shown below), and our dogs love to hike along the Maumee River.
This cute scarecrow greeter was photographed in Grand Rapids, Ohio.
Bellefontaine is home to the Ohio highest elevation (Campbell Hill). We enjoy the scenic beauty and colorful trees there.

We spent a serene morning at Lakeside watching Lake Erie's waves roll in below us.
Lake Lorimee State Park has a marvelous fall festival with entertainment, camping, and crafts,,But what I like most are the smells of kettle corn and the tractor and steam engine displays.

We enjoy exploring in the fall and I am a huge fan of covered bridges like the Roberts.

Harrison Lake State Park is a lovely in fall.

We had a beautiful picnic at Hueston Woods State Park.
