Brandywine Falls, Cuyahoga Valley National Park

This 65-foot falls can easily be viewed from several different levels. A combination of boardwalk and steps brings us to the waterfall's gorge and lets us view the waterfall head-on. The moistness is evident as we walk along the boardwalk. Our boots are damp and I feel the mist strike my face. We stand here and inhale deeply. It rained last week and there is a strong sense of power. The power is not ours but the waterfalls. It roars as it rushes down the moss-covered jointed blocks of Berea Sandstone. I am thrilled to be here and it is well worth the walk to see. We definitely plan to stop back to visit the falls again.
