Bridal Veil Falls -Tinkers Creek Gorge- Cleveland Metroparks - Walton Hills, Ohio

We love waterfalls and this area of Cleveland Metroparks is breathtaking in its simplicity.

We found it easy to reach a zen-like state here. Songbirds dance in a woodland of hardwoods and hemlocks and the heavy vegetation provides a canopy that protects us from the sun's harmful rays.

The falls are 15 feet high, but the water journeys down over 100 feet. There are numerous levels of shales ledges at Tinkers Gorge and each wrinkle of erosion creates a beautiful cascading, veil-like effect that is wonderfully mesmerizing.

After spending a significant amount of time gawking, we head back home with promises to return. (fall log)
