Sunset at home

Many years ago, we were on a crowded beach and everyone cheered as the sun went down. We learned this is a nightly celebration done to reinforce the idea of being thankful for each day. 

We have some beautiful sunsets around here so thought I would share some images with you. The photo above is a mile from my home and the photo below is me on one of my favorite beaches and below that is me stopping to pet our dog Buddy. He is a great walking companion.

A few of these images are from two of the lakes we frequent. I am fortunate to live in the Midwest where there are a lot of beautiful lakes.
