Marblehead Lighthouse

I'm happy to admit that this is one of my favorite locations in Ohio.

On a calm day, the waves cleanly break against the rocks and you can feel a slight mist hit your face. If you're standing here facing the Marblehead Lighthouse and look to the right you'll see Cedar Point Amusement Park across Lake Erie. If you look to the left beyond the white fence you'll see the back of the old keeper's house which is now the Marblehead Lighthouse Museum. And in case you did not know it, Marblehead Lighthouse has been in operation since 1822.

If you are fortunate enough to find your way to the Marblehead Lighthouse make sure and check out the view from the rocks to appreciate the beauty all around you. But be careful as the rocks are moss-covered and often very slippery.

Have a blessed day, Lori
