Introduction
Welcome to Pleasant 2 View Homestead! We live in the Midwest with our 4 dogs and this is a view of the sunset from our backyard. We are thrilled to be able to garden, preserve food, and spend time together exploring fields, forests, prairies, and wetlands - many of which burst into song.
To increase our organic food consumption, we planted a kitchen garden and began succession planting and rotational growing on our small homestead. Soon we found we were eating a lot more homegrown food and purchasing less from the grocery.
Our goal remains the same - letting viewers know small homesteads can produce food to help families with sustainability. Come explore and ask questions if you want.
