Red Anthurium

I hope your week is going well! Since Valentine's Day is almost here, I'm posting a recent photo I took of the Red Anthurium. It's also known as Painted Tongue or Flamingo Lily. And in Greek, Anthurium means tail flower.

I thought a red heart shaped flower appropriate for a Valentine's post. 

When working with Anthuriums, you may wish to glove up. The sap can cause skin irritation and all parts of the plant are poisonous but lovely to look at.
