Chicken Vegetable Soup and a Grilled Cheese Sandwich Recipe

On a cold winters day we enjoy soup and a sandwich. And on today's menu is an easy Chicken Vegetable Soup with Grilled Cheese Sandwich Recipe.




























Recipe:

shredded chicken

8 cups water

combo of potatoes, onions, carrots and celery















salt

black pepper

tarragon

thyme

3 organic bay leaves (remove after simmering)




















Procedure:

Put shredded chicken and water in a  large stock  pot over medium heat.

Add chopped vegetables and the herbs.

 Bring pot to a simmer for 2  hours uncovered.

Salt and Pepper are to taste

Grilled Cheese Sandwich


 Butter both sides of wheat bread and add Colby, Cheddar and or Monterrey Jack cheeses between two of the slices.

 Grill slightly until cheese is melted.
