Rosemary

Rosemary, is an evergreen perennial herb with  needle-like leaves.
It is a member of the mint family Lamiaceae and flowers in shades of blue, pink, purple and white.

Rosemary is propagated by cuttings, layers, root division and seed. I am currently propagating cuttings in water.

I use the leaves for flavoring meats, soups and stuffing.

Mostly,  I use it  with turkey and chicken but it can be used with other meats. It can also be burnt as incense and used as a body oil.

I personally like rosemary in both in my homes kitchen

and in my gardens edible beds.

Pleasant2view has always had a edible garden. A few years back we converted from an open garden  to individual raised beds.

We toy with the idea of going to back to one large edible bed and time and energy will be a determining factors in whether that occurs or not. Regardless of this, there will always be room for Rosemary.
