Harrison Lake State Park

My very first visit to Harrison Lake State Park was to fish but this is also a popular destination for camping, swimming, and canoeing. And it's a beautiful park for us nature lovers who like to stroll through leaves on a crisp fall day.

If you are looking to spend a night camping, there are 175 total campsites. Many have wide expanses of grass and are shaded. There's also easy lake access for non-powered boats, two beaches - one is for dogs, electrical service,
 and also some non-electric sites.

The lakeshore and woodlands are charming, and there's a 3.5 mile trail. Basketball, volleyball, horseshoes, and a playground are available too.
