Container Gardening Ideas
I expect that many of us use containers because they allow us to garden in places that there is no soil like this old washtub sitting here filled with flowering plants at the Green Thumb Farm Market in New Bremen, Ohio.
Or these plants being transported from our local garden club plant sale.
As I look around my front porch, I see about a dozen containers.
Many packed with flowering annuals and few empty- waiting to be filled.
I have clay pots filled with impatiens, ferns, and hosta.

If I had a terrace or courtyard I am sure they'd be packed with containers too.
I will be the first to admit that I have a thing for the imperfect. I often repurpose things with plants like this broken birdbath.
or this old crock
I have old wine crates filled with strawberry plants, and clay and ceramic pots filled with herbs.
I like utilizing a variety of urns.
and pots
and even containers that are messy and spilling over.
