Decorating the Kitchen with Copper

The cost of Copper Pot Racks and Accessories vary - but new these can range from 50 to hundreds of dollars or more because Copper is durable, flexible, and resistant to corrosion. 

Placing copper pans over the range is often where people display them. Chef, Julia Child, selected copper pots for her own home and kitchen. Her copper cookware hung on a peg board in some of her shows. I do not cook in copper pans, instead, I use cast iron and stainless steel. But I do like to decorate with copper as it has an old-world feel.

Our kitchen does not have a lot of space so we placed a copper rack above an island. I find it convenient to use as it is next to the stove. 

We scour garage sales, thrift stores, and antique malls for copper.
