Kiser Lake State Park, October 2023

We love crisp clean air and fall is usually when we do the most hiking.

 

If you are searching for scenic foliage you may want to stop over at Kiser Lake State Park. 

Kiser Lake is nearly 2.5 miles in length with over 5 miles of shoreline and offers many beautiful views. Today, we enjoyed a walk along the beach stopping to look at the pontoon boat.

and see some men fishing off in the distance.

We took a path along the lake and photographed the Maple Trees.

We then meandered into the woods looking for mushrooms before returning to the road that leads downhill to where our vehicle was parked.
