Live Nativity at the Van Wert County Fairgrounds.

I recently had the opportunity to visit some of the animals featured in the Drive-Thru Live Nativity at the Van Wert County Fairgrounds. Spending time with them brought the story of Christmas to life in a warm and meaningful way.

The camels, portraying the long journey of the Three Wise Men, stood tall and gentle. The donkeys, symbolic of the one Mary rode to Bethlehem, added a humble beauty to the scene. Sheep and lambs reminded me of the shepherds who came to see the newborn Jesus. The cow was a reminder of the simple stable where the birth took place A curious goat, common in ancient Judea, offered its own personality.
