Our Buddy

Buddy has been moping around the house much of this New Years Day. He, perhaps more than our other dogs, misses his trips to the dog park!

Jane Goodall was spot on when she stated " You cannot share your life with a dog, as I had done in Bournemouth, or a cat, and not know perfectly well that animals have personalities and minds and feelings."

This is one of the parks Buddy frequents. Not only does he miss it but we miss it too!


Unfortunately, it has been too wet and cold to play there.

But when Buddy does get a chance to play at the dog park,  he runs with friends and sniffs about

and then he happily rests on the lawn with Motley and Monroe.

In place of his trips to the dog park, we have adopted some inside play such as hide and seek
 ( he always finds me)  and a hunting game for dry food. But Buddy still has thoughts of outside play.
